Autumn is coming...

and what better project than to crochet up some fall-hued owls? These were so much fun to create and they finished up quickly. Just the right project to satisfy my appetite for some autumn themed crafting.
The free pattern can be found here
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/owls-two-ways-knit
The 2 smaller owls followed the pattern exactly, but for the larger gray owl I increased the number of stitches to 42 and crocheted 25 rounds instead of 16. I hope you enjoy making some of these little owls too...'cause they're a HOOT! (sorry, I couldn't resist that)

Still Stitching....

I've been stitching up some hearts to go along with the matryoshka dolls from my last post. I charted the heart myself but added little motifs that I found on the internet into the middle. I need to make 1 more and then I can begin creating the bunting - these also would make great Christmas ornaments...
My next post I'll include the chart for the heart and links to the middle motif patterns so if anyone wants to stitch some of these up they can <3

The Girls Are Finished!

When I saw the pattern for these dolls from cupcakecutie1.blogspot.com I couldn't resist so I quickly purchased it from her etsy shop & I've been happily stitching ever since. I finished the last girl up last night, but I have some more ideas to stitch up first & then I think I will make them into a colorful bunting. I am in love with the color combinations <3
